A deep crimson is poured into the glass with a lucid cardinal rim, producing tears of prominence. The nose brings forth luscious notes of cranberry, raspberry, garrigue, fennel, mocha, white pepper and potting soil. The entry is silky with an elegant mouthfeel chock full of strawberry reduction, gazpacho, rhubarb and clove. A touch of caramel and cola round out the finish with mature tannins that frame the close graciously.
